I bought it as a spare for my spouse, when the previous one was so bad. Haven't been able to go on a hike yet, but otherwise have had a lot of use in leisure travel. Good compartments and a plus when you can open the flap from the front so you don't have to dig for the basics from above.

Well made bag, very comfortable. It's actually a bit heavier than Osprey advertises, my measures weight was 2.6kg. 300g more than Osprey tells us.

Very comfortable fit that can be adjusted just right. First backpack gor me with a ftont acces panel which works great. On lications your just staying one or two nights you can ise it just like a suitcase and leave everything in. I found the size fine for a three week tour in Japan but this was without camping gear.

The ring hasn't gotten into real action yet, but the materials seem to be of high quality, and there seem to be enough adjustments and pockets. The waist straps feel sturdy.

Happy, its roomy, love the adjustability of the straps and wrist band. Like the access to the main compartment from the zip at the front, so much easier to access clothes.

It seems really high-quality and heavy loads feel light to carry. There are enough pockets and if you are tight with the stuff, the hammock/sleeping bag/tent can be attached well to the outside of the chest with compression straps until the food is consumed and more space is freed up in the chest. I don't think it's possible to do this, for example, in a Kestrel of the same price range?

I haven't tried it yet but I bought it for my 8 month PVT in Japan and it looks very quality. Lots of settings, pockets, everything! A back with reinforcement for the back, a place for a pocket of water, very comfortable handles, all accompanied by a rain cover. Thank you Osprey for a quality product that remains reasonable in terms of price on this site.

Good and easy adjustments. Fits well on the back. The only fault is the insole of the lower part inside the sack. It is not full-sized, but for example a pin can fit in the lower compartment.

Well thought out and very well made backpack. Is full of things that are slightly different than standard, such as the drinking bottle holders at an oblique angle. The only downside is the limited possibility to hang things on the outside of the backpack.

A really comfortable bag for men and women of normal weight 175 cm. Plenty of room for adjustment in everything.

Easy to carry loads

A simple bike, but it does its job perfectly. Really good to carry when adjusting the straps and pads. I would definitely buy again. For half a star, I would deduct the fact that the smaller ones might flow past the midsole into the bottom pocket. A zipper would be a better attachment to the midsole than straps. The other half starts from the fact that it is a bit difficult to get the water bladder in your pocket when the rucksack is packed. So, I have to loosen the bladder a bit when filling it.

This is my second backpack besides the Dutch 60L military backpack. The difference is like night and day. Osprey's fit and comfort are second to none. The weight evens out really nicely. All the small details and materials feel really high-quality and designed to the last detail. Even in this case, the price is significantly lower than competitors. By the way, the price includes a full rain cover. That will save you a few tens. Strong recommendation.

The first pack and 5 day hike went well with this one. In the beginning, the shoulder straps pressed on the shoulders, but at the end it didn't feel bad anymore. The rain cover is really handy and the bike still has new features. The only thing I missed was another strap for attaching the side.

I only got this 2 weeks ago and have only used this on 2 overnight trips, not hiking. I haven't tried back height adjustment. Sure, the best backpack I've owned, but the previous ones were the army's surplus stuff. You may want to attach extra pockets to your backpack, though there is no molle system here. Emotions contradictory. Happy: -back fastening and shoulder straps soft pelvic straps soft -sturdy -air circulation on the back Bad: At -65L, there doesn’t seem to be enough space for even a one-night trip stuff. -I have a thick sleeping bag in the compression bag, but the backpack sometimes has no suitable straps to attach it, and it doesn't fit inside the backpack even when there is such a narrow tube. The back of the backpack has mesh pockets, but the bottom is open, so don't put anything you want in them. -Something special attachment points and loops here are but I may never have come up with what a clever designer has in mind.

Great durable bag, nicer colour than expecting too! Many extra appliances and hidden features/straps which are useful. Detachable top bag for ease of access and separate lower compartment for sleeping bags is ideal for camping.
