Good grip, no slip on icy road. Reasonable drop. Quite a hard and stiff running shoe, especially from the bottom. You can see if it softens in use.

Overall very good shoes. Light, Isolates very cold even in 5-7 degree frosts. The size matched previous shoe sizes. Keep on the icy road.

Fun to not have to worry about slipping

I was looking for a winter trail shoe and after trying all the brands on the Icebug won.! Really great show, flexible but not too bendy, solid without being too heavy, really good toebox for a wider foot, or when you wear sealskin socks. 17 spikes per shoe, so safe to run with these anywhere. There have been my go to shoe for the Nuuksio trail runs this winter (2020-2021).

So far I am loving these shows, running around in Moscow weather. I haven't slipped once, and I feel secure on all surfaces that I have tried. Hopefully they will be durable and last a long time. They have also kept my feet dry. Expensive but worth it so far.
