The paddle is sturdy and fits comfortably in the hand. With a nylon pallet, you don’t have to watch out for bumps in the same way as with a carbon fiber pallet. I had to make a small initial adjustment with the arm length adjustment with the quick release. At first, the arm did not tighten enough and the extension was able to slip. I tightened the quick release screws and noticed another grievance. The lock wanted to get stuck in the locked position. After a little reflection, I filed the edges of the screw mating pieces a little rounder. It helped and the lock no longer gets stuck. If all this had been done by the manufacturer I would give 5 stars.

Very good first carbon fiber paddle. A clear improvement over aluminum in comfort due to better bending and the paddle feeling warm in the hand.
