Icebug's Pace3 BUGrip GTX is a waterproof and semi-high studded walking shoe for slippery winters! Now there's no more slipping and fumbling with wet feet. The shoes have a GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort construction, which makes them waterproof but breathable. In addition, an insulating layer from the cold has been added to them, so that the feet stay not only dry, but also warm. Thanks to its breathability, sweat can evaporate from the shoe and the cold won't bother you because of that. PU Mudguard brings additional protection to the heel areas and the tip has a laminated TPU reinforcement.

In addition to their incredible grip and waterproofness, these shoes take the environment into account in a really great way. The Ripstop textile used as surface material is durable, light and easy to care for, and even made from 100% recycled material! The material also meets Bluesign® standards and its fibers are dyed with water- and energy-saving Solution Dye technology. With laces made of recycled PET plastic, the shoes fit comfortably on the foot. The GORE-TEX® of the shoes meets the criteria of the international OEKO-TEX® 100 certification system. The certificate limits the use of harmful chemicals and guarantees the safety of the material for the user.

Even the insole has taken the environment into account: the OrthoLite® Hybrid™ insole contains 15% foam left over from production and 5% recycled rubber. The OrthoLite® insole retains its shock-absorbing properties for a long time, is light and allows air to circulate through. The insole can be gently washed in a washing machine at a low temperature.

16 carbon steel smart studs, which are molded into a rubber sole made of 20% recycled rubber, are responsible for the great grip. With durable shoes, you can move comfortably and safely in all weathers. What makes the Icebug smart spike shoes special is their BUGrip® sole. The smart studs of BUGrip® soles work independently and intelligently, and they react to the ground, always giving the best possible grip. The studs, combined with the abundant patterning of the sole, guarantee good grip from asphalt to mirror ice.

BUGrip® smart spike shoes
The BUGrip® sole is a combination of a special rubber sole and carbon steel studs connected to it. Smart studs work independently, adapt to the platform and always give the best possible grip. On soft surfaces, such as ice and snow, the stud bites into the surface. On hard and flat surfaces, such as asphalt and concrete, the stud sinks into the base rubber. On hard and uneven surfaces, such as stones and rocks, traction is created by the combined effect of the rubber sole and studs. Note We cannot guarantee that no slips will occur. Stilettos are not recommended for indoor use. Special care must be taken with soft floor surfaces, such as wooden floors and plastic carpets.
