The open water swimming experience became 100% more comfortable with these shoes, as my toes no longer get cold. True to size. I usually wear size 42 and now I chose size 41 so that they fit snugly on my foot, but it would have been worth choosing size 42, because they really do fit true to size.

I bought these for kayaking and the strong sole works great for landing situations. When swimming, my size is too loose, a lot of water gets in, so I would take a size smaller for that.
