Been in three cold season cycling for a few years. Not super warm, but works as an insulating shell pant. When it's very cold, I put layers underneath. In use, big pluses: a good big ventilation zipper on the thighs that opens upwards. A good narrowing welder for punts in the mouth of punts. Toilet pockets. Cons: Velcro fastener at the waist opens easily. You can notice this if you have heavier things in your pocket and your pants leak when you're riding standing up, if you've had to tighten the button fastening more at the waist.
