The Haix Black Eagle Safety 50 High is a high-cut S3 safety shoe designed for both professional and recreational use. Crafted from fully waterproof and breathable leather, it features a Sun Reflect property that minimizes the impact of sunlight, keeping the leather and feet cool. The robust and adaptable rubber sole provides protection against impacts and uneven surfaces, while the anti-slip tread ensures excellent grip in all conditions. The non-marking sole is resistant to heat, oil, and gasoline, and the shoe includes a completely metal-free nail penetration protection.

Note! Haix uses UK sizes in their shoes and translates them to EU sizes in a slightly unusual way, using only even sizes as euro sizes in both shoes and shoe boxes. So, for example, UK 5 and UK 5.5 shoes both say EU 39, even though UK 5.5 corresponds to EU 39.5. Applies to all Haix shoes and all half EU sizes.

The most comfortable boots I had yet, haven’t had the long enough to test longevity but so far highly recommend

— Show originalIt has been used for a couple of weeks now. Environment construction site + other activities. Shoes on 14h+. The feet are not wet with sweat, as long as the choice of socks is ok and you remember to take the insoles off the shoe after use.
The ease of use is excellent. The shoe can be tightened along the entire length of the foot and is very sturdy. I didn't have a break-in phase, but the shoes were immediately "ready-made" for me. The appearance is excellent. The lacing system works and enables the shoe to be tightened very quickly. The shoe is worn for less than 10 seconds.
Time will tell how the sole withstands wear, the leather surface remains in good condition (with threading) and the quick lacing rivets on the side withstand wear.
But now the impression is 5/5.

So far, ⅔ of the Haix shoes I've owned have lasted 6 months and then started to show "symptoms". We'll see how these go. I wear the shoes 14 hours a day, so they are put to the test...
The shoes have plastic lace attachment points, so I could imagine them being the first to give out.
