Saved my winter walks. I had been hoping for a long time to find decent studded sneakers in an ankle version, and these shoes fit like socks. LaSportivas are usually hard and require running in, but these work right away. The grip is moderate, not the best, but sufficient for my own use, and they work for walking and occasional running. The rolling ability is better for running than for walking. The sole is relatively high and thick and soft, which adds bounce to the step and has also been useful in terms of thermal insulation. The laces are a bit tricky, hard to get the right tension. Breathability is average or below, they don't keep water out, which is why I dropped one star. Size 42 was good, LaSportivas are about half or one size smaller than average, my own size is usually about 41 (foot sole length 26 cm), the sock part of the ankle was suitable.

First time buying this brand and I am deeply impressed! Consistently top quality and well thought out reinforcements. The water protection is impressive and also the heat retention in cold weather. Small in size so go up a whole size and they are perfect.

I've been running in these in snowy and icy forests for several years. I added La Sportiva studs to the sole (available separately) and the grip has been excellent. The shaft should be a little tighter so that snow doesn't get in in deep snow. Now the membrane is starting to leak, but I've run several hundred kilometers in the shoes so that was to be expected. Quite heavy, but very protective. I had to choose a size +0.5 as I always have to do with La Sportiva.

Good and light shoes. Size smaller than normal. The only minus is traditional straps, no quick tightening.

They support and fit well, but the grip of the studs was disappointing. It doesn't hold very well on hard ice. Walking is ok, but you have to be careful if you want to run.

Good running shoes for northern winter nights. They protect the ankle well and separate gaiters/gaiters are not needed.

Snow or stones will not go into the shoe. Grip could be better; should add pins.
