Perfect for transporting Trangia. Protects the backpack from soot marks as the soot remains inside the red bag.

I bought it on sale, the price was good and shipping was fast. The product works well, but is a little heavy for a hiking stove. The aluminium kettle builds up a layer on the inside after 2 times use, but this does not affect the tast. Three small comments: the kettle damaged the non-stick coating during stock or shipment. Also, the connection between windscreen and base is very loose. And lastly, the strap cannot be removed and runs under the base. this causes instability. Solved by running it back as far as possible, and fold it to the side. But a better design would be to use a rivet on the side, so no straps run underneath the base. Overall, very usefull stove for motorcycle camping, but for hiking i will use a more minimalistic custom setup.

This is made well and in my I have my 27 along with 4 Trangia plates stacked on top and it fits with a bit of extra room. It’s not something that is absolutely required but it does help protect not only your kit from getting banged around but also protects stuff in your pack if your stove happens to be a bit dirty when you pack it up.
