For minus battery life, maybe a couple of days of diving would be successful on a single charge, but I actually charge for sure every day. Yet another fantastic watch from Suunto. Easily readable screen, decent battery life for a rechargeable one along with what it is capable of. Waiting for the Tank Pod to give it a try with diving. Totally love it. I would love it even more if all features from Suunto Spartan Sport HR Baro were included in same package (wouldn't mind if this would be more expensive) but I know that I'm asking too much. Don't mind owning multiple Suunto watches.

After receiving the D5, I set it up and played around with the features for a little while. The computer looks/feels great and I think it will make for a wonderful SCUBA/freediving computer. However, a few hours after set-up, the computer developed some kind of significant software issue that made it inoperable. I had to send it in to a service center and it will take nearly a month to get back. Having an issue like that doesn't make you confident when it is your primary safety device..
