Appropriately small fins to support a beginner swimmer's learning of footwork and staying afloat. We also spent a couple of evenings in these at home before getting into the pool for real action. They are smaller than the flippers of the diving school, but they had enough bottom so that the training started well right away. The small size also makes it easier to transport. Despite the size, these give a small swimmer good speed when the technique starts to work. The size corresponds well to the description.
