This is the best pack I've used, blows issued rucks out of the water. Sure it's a bit heavy off the bat but the integrated frame and thick padding (which is updated compared to my buddies older version) make hauling 70-80lbs much more manageable. Scabbard works well and surprisingly none of my rifles have been digging into my back at all. Lots of ways to pack this ruck as you see fit, molle everywhere, straps to cinch everything down tight, plus the velcro built in to keep straps from dangling eliminates need to ranger roll / rubber band excess length straps. If you're a military member and/or hunter spending days in the bush I would highly recommend this pack.

This is a superb piece of kit. The materials and fasteners are excellent. It’s a very well thought out pack with excellent capacity. The pouch layout is excellent and all are very useful especially the long side pouches. Excellent for carrying a tripod. The rifle compartment is a good size and would definitely take a large calibre including scope. All in all a fantastic item well worth considering for long haul rifle carry. All the best Brett.

A really sturdy backpack with lots of storage and organization options. It could be improved if the gun holster could be removed if desired, and it's worth noting that the materials are not NIR-compatible in patterns other than MultiCam. Also, the empty weight is quite high.| Overall rating |
Top rucksack, best quality and equipped with lots of outer and inner pouches, optionally also for water bubbles in three possible positions. The G4 Operator is preferably usable for hunters and allows carrying a rifle or shotgun in the integrated scabbard. Equipped with sufficient MOLLE/PALS for combining extra pouches in the inner and outer spheres. The only tribute to all this: the G4 Operator's net weight is a bit high and carrying needs good condition!

Seems like a really high quality gun ring. You can't take a rifle off your back in seconds, but this backpack, or better yet, a rucksack, is intended for a sniper who has an assault rifle in his hands for quick situations and a heavy tac rifle in his backpack. The upper part of the gun compartment is not closed, but closed with straps. If there is a really long gun in the backpack, then part of its butt may be visible. I don't like this idea because it restricts carrying a gun in public places in a gun backpack.| Overall rating |
The product is of the expected Eberlestock quality and... Robust and durable as expected by soldiers...
