I saved up months for this backpack. If you are looking for the best combination of light weight, durability, quality and functionality then look no further. This backpack by Exped has it all!

On the first hike, one of the fasteners on the side bags gave way. Apparently it's not meant for either load. Half a liter thermal and neoprene slippers was too much. Maybe some textiles can be added to them, but otherwise it left a horsey impression.
Otherwise, the ring works great. Extremely easy to carry, once you get the adjustments right. Due to my injury, I was looking for a bike that would be light and wouldn't put too much weight on my collarbones. With the right settings, this works just like that. If it can still be used, then perfect, but the easy disintegration of the pocket clip makes it hard to believe that it is. In light rain, you don't need a rain cover. The downside is that when overpacked, the rain cover does not fit properly.

The purpose was to find a slightly lighter ring to replace the old 3 kg ring. Exped Lightning came to mind, but as it was a little too small (+ lack of external pockets), I had to continue searching and luckily this particular model came across.
Exped Thunder is light and, at least for me, it fit perfectly on my back. Easy to adjust and even though the materials are thin, they still feel high quality and I believe it will last a long time in my own use. There are pockets, but I'm used to a slightly larger number of (external) pockets, so that's a small minus. I think the rather large flexible mesh pocket on the top of the chest should be a zippered pocket, but on the other hand, it's convenient to slip, for example, a shell suit/rain cover, etc. into that mesh pocket.
I bought it blindly, but it didn't even occur to me to send it back - I was already so satisfied "at first hand".
