Once again, a great luminaire from Surefire, although I would consider this more as an edc luminaire than as military equipment. The luminaire has the basics in place. The switch works tactically with the weapons in remut and power modes for two. Full power is enough for all the activities for which such a Fikkari is intended. The modest lower power of a few snowstones, in turn, is enough for map reading and other little things to do indoors or in camping conditions. The luminaire itself is thin and precisely because of its thinness, 18650 batteries cannot be used with this luminaire, but cr123 batteries must be used. Annoying setback, which I think is compensated for by the moderate proportions of the luminaire. This luminaire is thinner in its light head than the Single Battery Backup model from the same manufacturer, and is only a couple of cents longer in length. With the body parts of the luminaires being approximately ‘lean’. Switching the Tactician’s power modes is done by screwing the light head, and I don’t think this luminaire can withstand exactly the same class of violence as fully enclosed and fixed lighthead luminaires. Of course, this will take more shocks than the receiving neighbor if he acquires his lamps as a house for a melee struggle. However, a luminaire in this Price Range is wasted if you think of it as a mere tactical luminaire for rioting with handguns.
