Product description

Limit: -12°C (10°F)
Extreme: -32°C (-26°F)

The Mythic range is all about slashing weight wherever possible. The Mythic 600 is an extremely lightweight, four season bag. At home in high mountains, it’s ideal for venturing out long Alpine routes, multi-day climbs, treks or bike packing adventures.

Weighing in at just 885g, it contains 600g of 900FP, goose down. The chevron style baffle design keeps the down in position, optimising core warmth and reducing the amount of fabric needed compared to traditional horizontal baffles. The outer is made from our own wind and water-resistant, Atmos™ fabric. At just 7D with a built-in ripstop, it’s both ultra-light and super tough. It has a narrow mummy shape to minimise bulk, lightweight zips and pullers, and comes with a lightweight, waterproof, roll top compression sack for protection from the elements and a small pack size while on the move.

The trapezoid boxwall baffle construction allows the down to fully loft, eliminates cold spots, and maximises warmth. It has an additional, adjustable baffle around the neck and an internal baffle along the length of the zip, both designed stop the heat from escaping. Hand-filled in the UK, all our down bags benefit from never having had their down compressed before use, maintaining the down’s loft and warmth.
  • 900FP R.D.S Certified European Goose Down with Nikwax fluorocarbon-free Hydrophobic Finish
  • Weight saving chevron baffle design, reduces down migration and optimises core warmth.
  • Trapezoidal boxwall construction with differential cut, to maximise loft and warmth
  • Close fitting adjustable neck baffle design for decreased heat loss
  • YKK 3/4 length main zip with synthetic filled baffle to trap warmth
  • YKK zipped internal stash pocket
  • Angled foot box for relaxed sleeping posture
  • Anti snag internal zip guard
  • Hand-filled in Derbyshire UK
  • Zipped cotton sack with water-resistant base for home storage

A little skeptical at first, not knowing the site, I started and was very happy with the service and the product. The product arrived ahead of schedule (tracking available), well packaged and as expected.

The product is finely made, it is roomy enough you can side sleep on it and it doesn't turn with you, I am 1,74cm - 70kg Packs to near nothing with a compression bag Weighs 922grs, little more than advertised but ok. I haven't tried it in sub freezing temps, while trying its fit on my bed I fell asleep, bc it is like sleeping in a cloud, so soft and cozy but I woke up bc I started sweating A lot. As I've tried it in sub freezing temps I'll review it again

Well time jees. A really small bag gets overwhelmed and returns to its wonderful shape at least in its bud yet. The disadvantage is that no compression bag is included, just a waterproof equipment bag. With moisture, time is humid when there is waterproof fabric inside and out, but both sides of the zero are fine-grained. The hood is smaller, which I'm used to, but that's enough. Vetska is quite a rimpula at 3m, hopefully it will last, but filing grams in all of these is flexible :) all in all, at least for my needs just a gem!

after testing it i got to say something didn't feel right.. i am a super warm sleeper, had a good dinner and felt cold at -2°c... the bag arrived in a big box inside its huge storing bag so everything should be ok, lets call things by its name: when you see the photos from Rab you're watching overfilled bags, the thing is that you like the photo of that giant Mcburger and buy it expecting it will do the thing but they give you a tiny burger... the bags look not that lofty at all, I'd say baffles must be at its 70% or so, I store it hanging in a huge closet so it's not packed at all.. don't get fooled by rab's claims
