Paying homage to our earlier years, the Original Pile Jacket is a reinvention of our classic Double Pile Jacket with the addition of a full windproof lining.
The Original Pile Jacket is exceptionally durable, with a tough berber high pile fleece outer and Pertex® recycled polyester windproof lining. Designed to keep you warm when temperatures fall, features include two zipped handwarmer pockets, a double pile collar with shock cord adjustment, and front zip with storm flap and roll-over chin guard. Worn at crags, walls, and watering holes across the Peak District, this revised version of a classic fleece is a staple for long days outdoors in the cooler months.

Quality's fine. Sizing is a bit oversize, but totally bearable , specially the sleeves and wrists are bit long and wide (maybe im a east-asian and too thin)
If the appearance pleases this is a must. After all, there is no point in this jacket: a half lighter ounce is twice as warm and packs into a quarter of the space it requires. The windproof lining fabric destroys the best properties of fleece, ie good breathability and moisture transfer. On a cloudy and windy day, the fan goes through the fleece and the lining fabric has a chilly feel against the bare arms, on a sunny and calm day the dark fleece collects heat and the windbreaker fabric feels sweaty on the skin.
Still, it gets pretty much used in the spring and fall. Comfortable, durable and practical, almost like wearing a (in your case, army green) sheepskin. The thick fleece does not startle in drizzle or sleet, and leaves no traces of small hits. And this is no completely breathless plastic bag. Long-sleeved and moisture-wicking / tolerant crank underneath so works comfortably.
The cut is loose, can accommodate under layers. According to the rabbi's size chart, from the chest circumference to the L and from the waist circumference to the XXL size under the L-size, in addition to the undershirt, you can fit a thin hoodie or sweater. The sleeves are just over 180 inches, the gloves can be safely forgotten at home, the collar becomes a bit tight if the hoodie’s hood has to fit. The sack-like cut hides the beginning of Outokumpu.
Pro tip! If you really mean to go cold, turn the jacket upside down. You look mentally ill, but the thick teddy fleece under the windproof lining retains body heat better than a cramped quilted jacket.
