The shoes were tested on the Lemmenjoki hike with about 20 kg of weight and found to be excellent. I used one pair of Ulvang merino wool hiking socks, i.e. without an inner sock. No scratches or dents. The shoe part is nice and soft. The sole is grippy and nicely stiff for walking on rocks, but it also runs happily in the forest. I would buy again if needed.

Great shoe, didn't require the so-called drive in, but immediately sat on the foot like a glove. The lacing holds and the shoe is just right stiff, suitable for a day's backpacking trips to hiking.

Downgrade from the older Hanwag Tatra boots. Why did they remove locking hooks? Quality is good, design is bad. Cobgrats Hanwag you have made extraordinary boots just plain ordinary.

In its own case, this membrane-free shoe has performed considerably better than a membrane shoe in hiking use. I didn’t find a goretex shoe that wouldn’t get wet from the moisture coming from either the outside or the inside and it took a long time to dry. Good and high quality shoes when you remember to take care of your shoes regularly

In addition to everything from hiking, it is suitable for mushroom picking, berry picking, fishing and even sailing. Big minus: ribbons should not be tied securely with normal knots. With over a decade of experience, only a double node keeps the whole trip. You would think there are even better straps for quality footwear.

Appropriately sized shoes came in accordance with the size chart, high quality and good feeling shoes right from the first steps. I recommend!

My first “real” hiking boots. First impression of power great. Compared to previous drymaxes, these filmless leather shoes feel great for power. On the first test, foot sweating remained minimal. The shoe supports a lot, but the sole rolls when stepping well.

You can see from the boots that they are sturdy and made with the highest quality. I chose the model without GTX as I will mostly hike with them during the summer and preferably in warmer latitudes. I started by immediately lubricating the boots with plenty of leather grease when I got them and let it dry for a few days. Then I wore them indoors a few times before I went out on my first round. They immediately felt that they were beautiful, even though it was noticed that it takes a few walks to enter them. Now I am trying which lacing is optimal and so far hunter lacing has been best for me. I look forward to my first longer hiking trip with them.

Haven't had a chance to wear these boots out yet but initial impressions are that they are of excellent quality and comfort. Can't wait to go for a hike in them.
