Lundhags Jaure II High Mens hunting shoes

So far I am very happy with the shoes. I walked around alpine mountains with 0 stress on my ankle, the weight of the shoes themselves is not a problem, they're much lighter than my previous shoes, a set of very rigid asolo for alpinism. The shoes are more flexible that I expected, it is perfect for hiking both on flat or steep hiking trails, and the ankle support is also enough for hiking completely outside of hike path, in plain forest, or on rocks. The only things I wish I knew before ordering them: - The shoes do not come by default with water repellent treatment, you need to buy grease/waxx (Lundhags sells very good ones) and apply them yourself on the boots. - if you have "strong/thick feet", ie your feet are large along the Z direction, you might feel a bit of uncomfort on the top of the foot when trying the shoe for the first time, especially with 2 pair of socks. But when you tie the shoes it slightly change its shape upward as it bring both sides closer, and when you start to walk around and push against the bottom of the shoe around it disappear.

Only used for a couple of weeks. Sturdy, durable and high-quality shoes. They mold to the foot during use. Stays very dry, at least through a quick wade through water. Dries quickly. Needs regular greasing. Also definitely needs the recommended two socks, because the rubber mix part of the shoe doesn't really stretch, the shaft molds to be comfortable.

Have had Lundhags shoes for years (over 20 years) but ran out. I wanted similar new ones. They were really good. The only minus was the size that was chosen, one size too small, does not fit 2x socks well. Now taken bigger than the number. My number is 45 (previous Lundhags shoes 46) with the shoe but now 47.

Super comfortable shoe with 2 pairs of socks. Limit for winter use, I wear heated insoles. Optimal foot and ankle support.

An evaluation is requested now, but this product is the kind of product that needs to be kept for a year to give a complete evaluation. I went to the store to try on several shoes from the same manufacturer. And shorter versions etc. Medium and these fit my foot best. The leather has remained good with the help of wax. Even though I died in that snowstorm. Only 50 kilometers. I like merino wool socks in these. The thing seems to be working, the feet have not been frostbitten. In these, the base is rigid. Not any shopping shoes, although they are nice. Yes, these credit shoes are. The calf leather is stiff enough, but good on the feet.
