Good first experiences. Bites onto the flap pedals, does not slip and the ride / pedal feel is good. A slightly wider last, could be a tighter seat with a narrow leg. There will be other strips that will be needed at some point when the wide fabric strips start to fray during the trail run as the branches etc hit. No experience with waterproofing yet. Probably water repellent.
