Product description

Alkan is the transparent, pure and odourless lamp oil for your Petromax lamp. It’s also ideally suitable for other kerosene or oil lamps and stoves.

Odourless fuel for outdoor and indoor use
Because of its high purity and its unique composition, Alkan burns clean with almost no smell. You can therefore use it indoors. However, indoor use requires sufficient air supply and ventilation.

Non-drip filling thanks to filler neck
The handy 1 litre bottle features a special filler neck that allows an easy and clean refilling of the lantern or stove tank. The filler neck is removable. Moreover, the bottle plug is fitted with a child lock guaranteeing a safe handling.

Flash point: > 61 °C

There has not yet been a need to use a storm lantern (in case of power outages). Petromax's products are known to be of good quality and I trust that for this product as well

Slightly more expensive compared to other lamp oils, but burns really clean / no soot and should not crack. In Feuerhand 276, the tank lasts considerably longer than with a regular substance. Personally, at least I don't buy anything else anymore ... plus the bottle dispensing spout!

Pretty expensive for fuel, but I bought the bottle because of its nozzle. Absolutely great nozzle shape for filling storm lanterns. Possible to refill.
