PrimeTech Stove Set is the ultimate camping stove for performance minded hikers. A gas stove with low fuel consumption and consistent effect, but with full performance. A compact cooking set with integrated burner that makes it very easy to use and transport.
Thanks to the PrimeTech pan’s integrated heat exchanger, together with the effective wind guard and the optimised burner, this stove has a fuel consumption of approximately half that of traditional camping stoves. The valve of the gas also has a regulator which gives a steady effect and improves the performance when the gas container is starting to run out at the end of a hike or gets cold in the winter. This way, the fuel consumption will be optimised throughout the life of the container. The only thing you have to do is turn the valve twice more before it starts. In addition, the valve has good fine-tuning, making cooking more precise and much nicer. The burner is also very quiet in comparison to other gas stoves.
The burner is integrated in the wind guard, resulting in a stable camping stove that is very easy to use. In three simple steps, the stove is ready for cooking: remove the wind guard from the pan, connect the gas and light up the stove! When you are packing up camp you should pack all the parts together in the pan and it will become a compact, rattle-free unit.
PrimeTech Stove Set 1.3L comes with two 1.3 liter pans, one of which has a heat exchanger. Lid in transparent Tritan reg; with integrated strainer and heat-resistant silicone handle, which makes it easier to pour pasta water, etc. The clever tongs are as steady as a fixed handle and as flexible as traditional tongs; they can lock to the pan for easy and secure handling.

The previous Primus approx. liter gas cooker turned 13 years old, the burner got clogged and the boiler coatings started to wear off. So a new one was needed. This was pretty much the same. There are many good things about Primetech, the most important thing for me is the sturdiness. Will definitely stay upright and definitely won't fall apart easily. However, the set has more weight than those old and discontinued similar models. Of course, if necessary, the set for the trip can be lightened by leaving out the piezo starter (quite a big gadget), the second pot and the funny (?) folded aluminum heater under the base, apparently meant for insulation, which feels like it will crack after a few folds. In terms of use, the only clear complaint is the difficult folding of the gas hose for packing. The hose doesn't fold properly into the bottom of the burner's wind shield, but it can properly fit through the outer edge when the wind shield is packed into the boiler. The instructions also prohibit bending the hose into a too tight bend. Some additional design of the wind shield would therefore still be needed so that the hose could be packed smoothly. But these are little things, a really good and reliable cooker that will definitely last for the next 15 years.
Edit: Now, after more than a year of use, the kettle is still good and functional and the things said above apply. The only negative thing is the lid: it almost cracked on the first backpacking trip when packing the kettle in the backpack because the lid can't withstand pressure from above in the first place, and the protective bag doesn't protect the lid from pressure in any way. So the cover cracked right away and worked cracked for a year. Now it's already cracked and going to the trash. The spare part costs €14, so it's not bad, but someone would like to get a replacement that doesn't break right away.
