I have the genei myself, and I bought a Lafaet for my grandson. The first impression is really good and the 13-year-old is good at using it. We are very satisfied.

Unfortunately, this order didn't go through. The connector does not fit into my Lafayette female connector. Connectors are apparently different sizes in those phones. The package is in the trash, now it's in the gun cabinet, I need a headset.

Lafayette is an excellent hunting radio! The structure is durable and tight. Coverage and range very good. Most of this gets the most out of it if the whole band has the same radio, but works very well in a multi-device environment. The mini headset works well on the radio and fits well under the cup cover. I recommend.

Very convenient, as the Earbud fits well even under hearing protection. Using the talk button is easier than using the phone itself (when the phone is in the breast pocket). A bit more convenient than connecting it directly to the earmuffs (although that's a great trick too) When using both versions of the talk button microphone, a little awkwardness when you take the button (or hearing protection) off your ears, the phone itself only puts all the talk into that button (or hearing protection), when in that situation it would be convenient if you could adjust the talk button knob so that you could now receive the calls come directly from the phone's speaker (even if that Smart MiniHeadset is connected). You know what I mean.
