This Inov8 jacket has been stripped back even further and now weighs just 108g. It is very light and waterproof hooded jacket and suitable for all kind of sports.
The ULTRASHELL is designed for those runners wanting to race as light and fast as possible, this breathable shell is perfect mandatory race-day kit. It is fully transparent for race number visibility and packs away small for easy, lightweight carrying. 2.5 layer waterproof fabric with 10,000 HH and taped seams keeps the runner dry and protected when it rains.
WATERPROOF PLUS BREATHABLE
Boasts a breathability level of 10,000 B-1 meaning sweat moves through the shell, resulting in temperature regulation and comfort when moving fast. 2.5-layer waterproof fabric with 10,000 HH and taped seams. Hood keeps head dry and rolls away when not in use.
RUN SUPER LIGHT AND SUPER FAST
The updated ULTRASHELL is our lightest jacket in the range at only 108g. Barely feels like you're wearing waterproof shell. Half zip for further ventilation.
EASY TO CARRY
Rolls up to a super-small size and is then secured in place using an integrated elastic loop.

Fulfills all the criteria when race organisers rule a waterproof jacket must be carried as part of mandatory kit.

— Show originalVery light, well-fitting jacket. I had a NUTS Bear Tour 55km from the start of 2019 in light rainy weather. Worked well with a running backpack while running. Undressing was reasonably easy, of course the hoodie design slows down a bit when you have to pull the garment over your head. — Show originalOnce caught in the rain, I had the time to keep a jacket. Those water pillars will probably have to come up with a bit in the way of breathability, but quite a good game. — Show originalReally good waterproof jacket. At least not yet there is no water came through, even though I tried it a few hours cycling approximate the pouring rain. In addition, the Nuuksio Classic was on for about the last 3 hours in continuous rain, and I didn't get wet any more than without the rain jacket. In other words, you also breathe so well that there will be no harder sweat than normal. However, the jacket is so tighter than the non-membrane jacket that it warms up a little more. For example, around 5 degrees in the rain, a thinner layer than this is a thin layer without a film.
The only downside is that it's more challenging to take off and dress as a jacket and not to get a relatively tight jacket, at least not easily, to protect the contents of your running vest.Brand
