— Show originalTried it once - first the filter got clogged when I took water from a riverbank that was too shallow, I couldn't have gotten the hose any further/deeper and the water always guided the end of the hose to the shore. After that I cleaned the device and used it for the rest of the trip to filter well water by taking water from the well into a pot and filtering it into a bottle. This was a good opportunity to test the product and it seemed to work easily and quickly enough.| Overall rating |
— Show originalEasy to use and fills the water bottle pretty quickly. When packing, you have to think about how to make the hose run smoothly and stay intact. I ended up putting the whole thing in a plastic bag.

It is good to have a suction hose and it makes it easier to pump water while crouching by the side of a steep stream.
