Comfort Fit, Meindl quality and workmanship all in one in these shoes. Fit right out of the box with no settling in. I use them for long walks in the hills where I live. Their looks draw attention and don’t seem out of place in city coffee houses. Very happy with my purchase

The product matched the description and met expectations. The sole is extremely torsionally rigid and provides good support for the midfoot on uneven trails. Due to the low-cut design, they do not support the ankle, but that is not their intended purpose. They keep water out when walking in wet grass. The only downside is that they are a bit too heavy.

A fantastic shoe with a wide fit; I owned a pair for five years, and now that they’re worn out, I don’t want any other shoes. I can highly recommend this shoe—it’s not cheap, but you get a lot for your money.

The leather shoe feels really soft on the foot, and the sole offers good grip even on slippery forest trails. It is easy to get a snug fit by tightening the laces. Excellent shoes for both the city and the trails—I recommend them.
