Sturdy shoes that fit the foot. I pull the Meindl Sienas on carefully using a shoe spoon and the feet are in their own "nests". Support comes from the bottom and sides. The laces must be tied tight enough to be comfortable when walking. These are at least the third Meindl shoes. You can get shoes cheaper, but they are not for me. Quality pays and the extra price is worth paying. The shoes are lined with soft leather and they are really comfortable.

Very nice and good shoes, a little too wide perhaps at the heel (slight vertical sliding effect). Very comfortable. The grip of the Vibram soles is not perfect on hard and wet surfaces (but this is not specific to these shoes, of course). Very nice finish, for shoes that can be used for short hikes and everyday city walks.

I've had them for about 14 days now and they clearly need to be broken in a bit longer. This is undoubtedly because these shoes are of a completely different caliber than your average shoe. I expect to enjoy them for a long time!!

Excellent design and comfortable feeling on the foot. Although the inner part of the heel wears out with surprisingly fast use, the fabric is torn.

My favorite hiking shoes. I have particularly wide feet, and this shoe gives me the best fit I have ever experienced. And they last a long time. I did have issues in the past with the outside seams by the front of the foot opening, but that appears to have been resolved with the last pair I bought.
