The assembly was successful, but it was quite laborious (as was the gate). The instructions could really be clearer and, as with the gate, there were parts left over. There is no smell to which they would have belonged. Anyway, the wall is now in place and driving its case. I am happy with my purchase. It would have been higher, the Ford Focus had about 15 cm of space left between the partition and the roof. Quiet (at least still). The gate sometimes rattles.
