The "hearing feature" works moderately - these are not the same thing as active hearing protectors, but you can clearly hear e.g. speech better than with normal passive earplugs. The only problem is that the user of the plugs should remember in which position of the plug's lever switch these were audible and in which better protection... :) For some reason, sometimes they manage to stay in the wrong position.Brand
