The Eberlestock Warhammer Pack (J51) stands out with its advanced Intex-II frame, offering superior ergonomic fit, close-to-body load carriage, and a bottom cargo shelf in a smartly designed package. This pack is perfect for those needing a versatile and comfortable solution for extended trips, providing ample storage and exceptional ventilation. The Warhammer, an evolution of the J79 Skycrane II, features larger side and main butterfly compartments, enhancing its standalone capacity while maintaining compatibility with other Eberlestock components.
By itself, the J51 Warhammer is a robust 3-day pack with two pockets designed for 70 oz/2-liter hydration bladders (sold separately). It can be customized with various accessories and bags to suit different needs, making it a highly adaptable system. For a well-organized front-loading pack, the G1 Little Brother can be zipped into the J51's load bay. For bulk storage, the J2SD or J3SD Spike Duffel can be attached, or a combination of both. The LP1 FannyTop Go-bag can be added to the top panel for additional storage. These options make the Warhammer a fun, versatile, and highly efficient backpack.
To complete your pack system, Eberlestock's weapons carriers can be added. The scabbards attach to the MOLLE/PALS webbing on the load bay, with panels that zip away to accommodate long guns.

This is the best rucksack design I have used, and I have used a few. I wonder why other makers haven't been doing the same. In the two main compartments i have my one-person tent, sleeping bag, water, food, medical and then if I want to carry my daypack and plate carrier(they are too heavy and bulky to put externally on a pack) I can simple open the zip and just put these two on the middle. The great thing is that i dont have to have a massive rucksack in order to be able to fit inside a daypack and a plate carrier and when I take them out I now have a massive empty ruck because the j51 just closes back together. So far tested on a 20km walk while 20kg and it was very comfortable. Also the modularity is great since you can customize ot6 as you like.
