The Eberlestock Battleship is a refined mountaineering backpack designed for those who need both capacity and convenience. With its dual top and front-loading options, accessing your gear is straightforward, even with a pack of this size. The diaphragm system allows for easy separation of the top and bottom compartments, while the Grapple compression straps ensure your gear stays secure and can also be used to attach additional items like sleeping pads, tents, or a rifle.

Eberlestock quality is legendary. The Battleship (100L) is my 4th pack after the Warhammer (34L), Little Brother (29L), and Bandit (15L) — all used hard for 10+ years. I don’t treat them gently: buckles get forced, zippers dragged, packs dropped when heavy. They just work. Period. Got the Battleship for the volume — I carry gear for two (sparing my daughter’s back) and don’t like hanging stuff outside. Loaded it up with 35 kg the first time I used it, and it carried beautifully: no pressure points, no sway, solid all around. Just take the time to dial in the fit, and you can go with any load you want. Yeah, it’s heavy and maybe not flashy — but it’s a tank. This is a pack I’ll still have when my grandkids start hiking. If you’re on the fence — just go for it. Varuste has been my go-to store for years — great people, great service, never disappointed.
