I got this as a companion to the Pocket Rocket, which has served me well. So far it has met expectations well. Sturdy even with a bigger pot, and the burner spreads the heat over a much larger area than the old pocket rocket, so the pot food doesn't burn to the bottom as easily. The included aluminum shield that touches the ground is quite handy, but the wind shield made of the same material is a complete toy. You should get someone better. One leg has loosened already after a few months of use. It doesn't interfere with use, but please open the package and check before buying that all the legs lock properly.

This is an absolutely fantastic gas cooker. I mean really! It doesn't just burn in the middle, but the heat spreads more evenly and over a wider area. You can also set it to really small and, depending on the dish, also simmer (depending on the gas cartridge and the amount of gas). It has a price, but quality is quality. Never again a new Chinese burner. which burns the food in the middle when you can't adjust the gas properly. And the most recent one started leaking gas from the end of the cartridge from the valve, so it became dangerous. I definitely recommend this, after about 10 uses!!

Great burner. The flame is wide enough that you can cook in a frying pan without the center burning and the edges being cold. In addition, the flame is small enough and the regulator is precise.
