First Spear Exigent Circumstance Pack is a fast-access assault pack built for adaptable carry and streamlined organization during demanding 12–24 hour missions. The pack switches between backpack carry and a single-strap setup, helping keep the shoulder area clear for smoother weapon handling and quick movement. External storage options, including a removable beavertail panel and a shock-cord flap, make it easier to stow a helmet or bulky equipment without sacrificing main storage. Hydration compatibility supports up to a 3 L reservoir for longer training days, patrol work, or emergency preparedness.

- G-hooks on the shoulder straps are solid, they won't come undone unless you want them to. Very comfortable as a single shoulder strap bag too. Could benefit from being able to use a sternum strap, but the shoulder straps are too thin to support one. - Comfortable as-is, but it's much better with the ECP Back Panel that is sold separately. Comes with a foam back that can be easily removed and swapped for the back panel, used in conjunction with the back panel, or used as a kneeling/sitting pad. - The internal layout is very simple, and the capture flap is extremely useful. There's enough shock cord holding the capture flap to the pack that it's unlikely things will fall out through them. - The internal pocket of the capture flap has four heavy-duty elastic straps to hold things like smoke grenades, magazines, bottles, etc. I plan on removing it and swapping for a custom hypalon panel. Overall I love this pack, especially as support with a bigger pack. I also plan to use it as a back panel of a chest rig because of its modularity.

Best 1-day backpack. The black version can be used in an urban environment without drawing to much attention.
