The traditional E. Koivumaa kuksas are handcrafted from Lappland tree wards. When used rinse your kuksa with clean water and it's ready to use again. Never wash your kuksa with dishwashing soap of in the diswasher. Every kuksa is a unique product of nature.

This is a beautiful cup and well made. It needs to be seasoned, as in, drunk from a couple of times as the wood taste comes through the hot drink initially. Which is to be expected as its an organic material. I found I had to drink my black coffee quite quickly as it got cold quick, so if you're taking this camping, don't make your coffee and then go pitch your tent. I bought this cup as a birthday present to my self. I wanted something from Lapland, as it is one of the most beautiful places I have been to.
