Enhance your triathlon experience by pairing HRM-Tri with your Forerunner® 920XT. The HRM-Tri stores heart rate data when underwater, then forwards it to the 920XT. Garmins smallest and lightest module fits within the width of the strap. Its soft, rounded edges and covered seams make the strap super-comfortable out of the water, too.

— Show originalMeasure your heart rate more reliably than a wrist measurement. Also works well when swimming, recording heart rate data only after getting out of the water. The strap softens in use, the top was pretty stiff. But the challenge in these is always how to get under the sports top, etc.| Overall rating |

— Show originalI mainly use it for running and mountain biking. A good heart rate belt whose sensors provide more information for running. I don't fully trust the values of the stride sensors / Garmin's way of interpreting the data, but the data will be measured and readable, so there have been no problems with performance. I haven't tried swimming yet. Worked well and the connections to the watch (Fenix 6X) were trouble-free. I don't think it's as comfortable to wear as a Polar strap, for example. The edges are a little hard and sharp, perhaps softening with use. There is also no experience of endurance yet, as only after listening.| Overall rating |

In addition to heart rate, the run provides amazingly accurate data such as stride duration, balance left vs. right foot, number of steps per minute, etc. While swimming, I haven't tried it yet, but the vendor says the heart rate belt can store data and send it later to the locker.
