Product description

Even without being in the great outdoors, the Sport-Roller City gives city bikers greater flexibility. It can be used on both sides on front or rear racks or as single pannier. Highly incandescent 3M Scotchlite material reflectors on the panniers’ sides give increased safety in traffic. The affordable basics can be upgraded with numerous accessories. This model is provided with edge protectors having slots for fixing the Ortliebpannier carrying system.

I had to get the front bags quickly and due to the rush I ordered the city versions by mistake. However, I decided I could live without the shoulder strap and the possibility of "overfilling", so I kept the bags to myself. Actually, I like that there is nothing extra in the bags and the overall look is very reduced. The bags represent guaranteed Ortlieb quality. The contents have remained dry even in the rain. I have used the bags either in the front or as small back bags on business trips. I still haven't needed a shoulder strap, although you can attach almost any shoulder strap to the bags if necessary. The bags made it to the actual test on a trip of approx. 500 km as a pair of front bags. The bags could fit everything you needed and a little more. No complaints. If I were to buy bags now, I'd probably buy the slightly more expensive Sport Roller Classics, but I don't regret getting the city versions, which do just as well.

Clever bags that swallow things well. The rating was lowered by the fact that the adapters that came with the bags (thickness of the taraka tube) do not stay properly in place, because the bag fasteners lack the grooves that my other bags have.
