Ortlieb Bike-Packer Plus

Works well and is pretty.

Not a well designed product. I used to have ortlieb roll-up bike bags; they were great. I bought the Bike-Packer Plus as a replacement. It had excellent reviews. Suspiciously excellent, I now know. The bags are poorly designed. The closure is by plastic buckles - not working well because the straps are too long and the bags cannot be closed tightly. The plastic buckles pinch my fingers when I use them. The bags' tops are loose, not tight. The closing cord gets in the way all the time. The inside second cord is of not much use. The outside pocket is useful, but it is linked to the outside main strap, and therefore difficult to access when the bags are full and tightened. Overall, this product is bad. I recommend the original roll-up bags instead.

Great product! I bought this version because of the side pocket, but now that I think about it, it would have been worth taking a rolling bag - it could fit more as needed. It would be difficult to close the flap properly if the so-called "piri surface". It would be even better if the product stayed upright when placed on the ground

In addition to the larger size, the zippered side pocket is a great feature for hiking use

The bags can be firmly attached to a wide range of luggage racks. Easy to remove just by lifting the handle. A separate side pocket is a convenient addition to many other (splash) waterproof bags.
