Important notice
EU version with Scandinavian frequencies. Might not be compatible with other Garmin dog devices bought in Central Europe eg. France and Germany because they might use different frequency and Max Power Output. It works but might be impossible to pair with other versions.
Atemos™, Astro® and Alpha® tracking handhelds and DC™, K, KT, T and TT™ dog devices use radio technology to detect the location of dogs in their environment. The use of radio equipment is subject to various national regulations. Atemos, Astro and Alpha tracking handhelds and DC, K, KT, T and TT dog devices are generally approved for sales in other countries under CE industry standards. The use of this equipment is only allowed in some countries on specific frequencies. More info www.garmin.com/tracking-legal.
United States bought Alpha, Astro, T 5, T 5 mini-and DC 50 are not functioning in Europe because they use forbidden frequency.
Remember to always check compatibility and regulations.

It is light and not terrible to put on a puppy dog (small vertical ear bitch) around the neck. The best radar on the market is for the vertical ear. — Show originalEspecially suitable for a small dog. In my case, the Finnish vertical ear for a bitch. The dog is only 6 months old and the collar still stays firmly around his neck. And there is so much room for adjustment that I can use it even when the dog is an adult.
Good range and at least in this case sufficient for a future wild fowl dog.
