Although there were no instructions for assembly, it worked out great on the first try. A sturdy stool in every way, packs down small. Comfortable to sit on, a little wobbly when changing positions, but there is no feeling at all that it is being let down. Excellent price/quality when purchased on offer.

Very comfortable to sit. Packing and assembling is easy. Although it is not the lightest touring chair, as a first-time user I am always surprised by the chair's lightness.

When you're in your 70s, you appreciate a certain level of comfort on trips, and this hiking chair brings exactly that same ease to admiring the scenery and enjoying snacks, when you don't have to separately look for a support tree or make an effort to look for mustard on the ground. These would have been necessary a few years ago. I recommend it to younger people as well.
