Does not rattle, rattle or shine. However, it's pretty lame. There is no guarantee that it will still work years from now, even if the use is quite minimal.

A big minus is the loose bracket. The actual resistance of the spring starts only after about a centimeter, when the ball is already open and can grab the piece weighing it down. For the same reason, the shutter clicks if you swipe it. In a good bracket, the resistance is even all the way. For some, the looseness can be an advantage - the item goes into the tire more easily.
