I haven't used it yet but I'm not really a fan. It's okay when no heavy rain is known. When wet, it's hard to figure out which is the inside and which is the outside when the whole vektor is just as wet. I've also used it as ground clothing with a tarp, it's good because you can attach it to the ground with wedges and it won't move accidentally.

I got a raincoat for my Spanish camino hike and it worked great! I didn't get heavy rain during my days, but there were a few rainy days that lasted for a day. The cape is light and breathable, just what I needed. In more forested and rougher places, I would perhaps be afraid of the thin material sticking and tearing, so I would probably choose wearable rain clothes.

Great quality, great delivery time

Breathable as a raincoat. Packs easily back into its bag. A little long for a 165-centimeter user when there is no weight on the back. The tightening of the hood and the cap as well as the shortening cord on the back of the cloak are good features. Quality and good product, although expensive.

Lighter than stated (195g). In Varuste.net's announcement, the length was incorrect at the time of purchase, the product is 15cm shorter (280cm -> 265cm) and that's a minus of almost 2 meters for a user. I have used it as a one-person tent for a few dozen nights and also on rainy nights, as a poncho only when arranged. Observations in needy use:
+ light, easy, simple and compact
+ enough loops in the corners (4) and on the long sides (2) for either wedges/strings
- also in the Hupu region, there could be a fastening loop to raise the ridge of the tarp and reduce the accumulation of water
- the color options are glaring
- that 280cm would have been perfect, then the bike would have also fit completely in the rain cover
- maybe a bit narrow as a strap, if you like wide ones, etc. Very difficult to get both wind and rain protection
If your hiking buddy also has this same model, you can snap them together to get a bigger bag.
