It has been told about a guy from here in Odda, that he was too big to be a human - and too small to be a troll. With 60gr. Primaloft padding.
Okay. Grown up guys shall also have a Jerven bag. The King Size-bag is 220 x 143 cm, connected as a wind sack. This normally gives room for two. Or, you may stretch out all you want and sleep a little. With such a large «single unit-dwelling» the options are many.
The padding is the same as in the smaller Thermo bag. If you’re over over 1.90 cm and 100 kilos (6’3”/220 lbs)., choose the King Size Thermo.
The King Size-bag is probably, due to its size, the most useful bag.The possibility to stretch the legs and really rest is sometimes worth its weight in gold. If you turn the inside out, you’ll have a warm quilt, for use at the cottage.
The approximate size of the packed product or the sales package is 160 x 170 x 360 mm.

— Show originalAlready tested in different ways. I can already see that the material is sturdy and durable. Made of high quality. Yes, it weighs a bit, but you have a piece of gear that you can use in so many ways. It is worth the high price. Since you are going to use the zippers a lot, I hope they are very good. Of course you have to use them normally. That way they run well and no material gets in between. If you use it as a tent and put a mat in it (possibly a mat underneath it too) you can easily lie in it with a thin base layer around freezing point. It can blow and rain and you will not be cold. I am 1.73 meters and as a poncho it is on the large side, but usable with the belt. In short, I am satisfied. This piece of gear will last a very long time, I know that for sure.

Saved me once already when a return to my camp highlighted a leaking tarp and wet hammock setup due to this. Used the jerven as a sock to cover the hammock and me. Doesn't quite give a full cover this way but it's close enough to do the job, kept the wind and rain away well enough to sort me out and meant I didn't have to break camp and head home. Very versatile bit of kit and a happy addition to my pack

Perfect as a small cosy tent .. but a bit too voluminous as a solo sleeping bag => bring a summer sleeping bag to use inside!
