Product description
The next generation of Mammut’s Tec Step set incorporates the most recent findings from safety research: The elastic carabiner arms thus feature an extremely strong and robust construction. In addition, the brake force curve of the webbing brake has been further optimized to make the Tec Step sets brake falls even more gently and thus better protecting the body. The maximum impact force has also been reduced. Even in the case of a 180 degree misuse (one carabiner on the guide cable, the second on the climbing harness) the Tec Step sets will hold a fall safely. The high-end Bionic Via Ferrata carabiner with Key Lock and fast locking mechanism is easy to use thanks to the handrest, which is coated with synthetic material. The robust and stylish Tec Step Bag contains a via ferrata safety card with explanations on the correct use of the via ferrata set. Rotating of the two elastic lanyards is prevented by the light and compact 'Swifel' swivel joint.
