Great, lightweight fins for an 11-year-old boy for a trip to Croatia. We chose a size larger than usual to accommodate neoprene "swim socks." These turned out to be essential on rocky beaches, making it easier to enter the water and put the fins on once in the water.

Very light and stay firmly on the foot! You might want to choose a size smaller because they stretch nicely on the foot. Good for travel.

I bought these as winter flippers. I use them with neoprene socks. They are much shorter than my summer flippers, but they work.
