The H2 Gunrunner is a minimalist, lightweight rifle pack that's designed for hands-free hunting and quick access to your rifle. It gives you just the right amount of stowage for personal gear for a day's outing. The top compartment is a good size for range finders, calls, etc., and the main compartment is sized for a day's worth of food and clothing. It is hydration compatible (hydration sold separately). The pack has crossed vertical and horizontal compression straps, which are useful to grapple things to the pack, and a stowable waist belt for stabilizing the load when you're moving fast.
Side webbing is configured to mate with our A3SB Saddle Bag, which allows you to increase the capacity of the pack by adding up to two of these 3-liter pockets.
Designed primarily for rifle and/or shotgun hunting, this pack is a single-piece alternative to the H1 Mini-Me with A2LS Scabbard package.

A good backpack for a petite woman. Spacious backpack part, can fit your snacks and other things for the trip.
The gun can't swing in its own bag in front of you again, like it can in many backpacks.
The height adjustment of the carrier is quite difficult to use, really tight to get it in place. Otherwise, a backpack in good condition in all respects.

Excellent bag, superb for hunting. Very well made, and more spacious than you‘d think. Doesnt fit rifles with big (pistol) grips though. My Marlin 1895 with scope slides in perfectly
First experiences very positive. Rifles of different sizes can easily fit in a pocket. Depending on the rifle, it is difficult to tighten up the slight lateral sway. I didn't notice any lengthwise swinging at all with any rifle, this makes walking much easier when the rifle is not swinging on the back. Removing the rifle from the backpack is not very easy, but it can be done.

A damn good backpack for a dog man. At first I thought of sending it back, but when I calmed down a bit and adjusted the straps, it works. The weight of the gun is not felt on the back at all and you can get around even a little bit more difficult terrain without any problems. If necessary, the gun can be pulled from the holster with one hand from behind the neck. Not suitable for very long guns. My Tikka is 107.5 cm, and the mouth of the bag fits tightly closed. Good purchase, I can recommend.
