If you want to use a thicker sock in the boot, eg a wool sock, you can take a shoe larger than the size, because the lining of the shoe is quite thick and the thicker sock could become narrow. The circumference of the top edge in size 37 is about 34 cm. There’s flexibility at the top, so it gives up a bit.
