On the first pair, one of the tape loops came off with the first tightening. Otherwise, they functioned flawlessly in the yard chores of the cottage. For longer walks, maybe something else, like Salomon's Toundra Forces

Shoes that have proven to be good for winter snow work. I didn't buy these for longer trips.

I bought them as warm winter boots and they do well in wet and cold weather, with one warm sock. Not exactly extreme boots, but you can walk all day even in -15• below zero

Meindl Sölde boots work very well with the EA 2.0 bindings of the OAC Kar 149 sliding snowshoes.

warm and high-quality shoe. you should take a size bigger. a bit stiff but not intended for running, but really good

Didn't get it when Sorel caribou was an option. Good shoe but the shaft is unnecessarily high, except for snow camping. I was not selected for the sledding race.
