Excellent boots, robust and, as expected from Meindl, superbly crafted. I normally wear a size 8.5 (42.5), but now I'm wearing a size 9 so I can wear thick socks in winter. Even my wide feet fit perfectly in the Meindl "wide" fit. My orthotic insoles fit in without any problems. I've now bought these boots twice; with very frequent use and average care (waxing), they've lasted me 15 years. They were resoled once without any issues. Another positive was the super-fast shipping from Helsinki to southern Germany (3 days).

Magic boot for "slightly" wider feet while being very torsionally stiff and stable. Perfect for hilly terrain for the stability of the boot and very foot-correct. A boot to age in.

Used for 1 hunting trip (50km walking) very comfortable and sturdy shoes. My third pair of Meindels, lasts about 10 years per pair. I use the shoes about 70 days a year for hunting, otherwise the shoe lasts really well (leather, membrane and laces) but the sole comes off after about 10 years of use. The sole can be replaced in this model but I have always ended up with new ones.

Excellent shoes based on 2 weekends of walking. I have put over 40 kilometers on the shoes and they have been put to the test. The conditions have been very wet and challenging in many places. The shoe has a pleasantly wide last and they support the ankle excellently on climbs and descents. I warmly recommend these shoes to others who value quality and enjoyable kilometers when walking in nature.
