These boots are very suitable for me as a hiker on boggy wet ground. The narrower women's fit suits me. The Meindl brand is a good one, if somewhat overpriced compared to other comparable comparable brands.

Nice boot, I normally get the Bhutan or Burma but find them quite hard underfoot. I like this boot as it has a memory foam lining and is very comfortable. It did only last 18 months though before the rubber gave way and the book started to leak. I was denied a replacement under warranty as I was told I hadn't looked after them well enough (I had). The problem is the nubuck leather which doesn't hold up to the wet muddy winter conditions in NZ. It cracks easily once wet and then dried over time.

Excellent boots - exceptionally comforatable, well-crafted and a dream to wear. I'm normally a UK size 8/EU 41 but orderd a UK size 8.5/EU 42.5 and they fit perfectly. Highly recommend. Ordering was also exceptionally easy and delivery was quick. Communication and response also excellent by Varuste.
