Shoes that last for years are the third best, lasting about 7 years even with relatively heavy use.

Excellent shoes, is my fourth pair actually. When you find hiking shoes that are nice to your foot you don't experience with others. I used the last pair actually almost daily mountain hiking and found out they were getting slippery after 1200km which I had covered in 11 months. They old ones will be used alongside.

The previous, exactly the same, footwear lasted over 12 years, and water still didn't get inside the shoe. Careful cleaning and waxing kept the previous ones in good condition, and I'm doing the same for these. Perfect fit on the foot. Really good footwear for mixed terrain, both in the lush forests of the south and on the rocky trails of Lapland.

Excellent shoes! Stiffness was a bit on the high side, but the high shaft and solid construction keep ankles and knees safe. Easy to tighten, materials seem to be of high quality.

Great shoes. Straight from the package to my feet for a 6-day hike in Lapland. My size was right, I could even fit a couple of socks in between. There was swamp, ups and downs, rocks and who knows what else. My ankles stayed intact and my socks stayed dry.
