Very sturdy bag that has an excellent finish. Its modular spirit is appreciable for those who wish to personalize the locations of the pockets thanks to the soft hooks. The aluminum frame provides great stability once all straps are adjusted. Very non-material for those who want to keep their equipment for life.

I bought a newer LJK Modular Backpack to replace the old one, which I still didn't dare give up. In the old LJK backpack it has served well and will continue to serve, the side pockets are made to slip behind them, for example Rosell's hiking loop with a long handle, which is at least the best hiking ax for me, and behind the other pocket, Gerber Freescape Camp proved to be excellent. Another thing I appreciate about the old LJK is the large pocket sewn on top of the lower compartment, which could hold, among other things, a camping stove and a pot / coffee pot combination. There was no danger, for example, that the fuel bottle would spoil the food. The only downside was that the lower tray was awkward to use. Durability in this case took precedence over comfort. But now it was a question of a new Modular. Excellent backpack. However, I missed the big pocket that would fit the kettle and utensils. And Savota didn't find a pocket big enough to fit my cook set. I had to resort to a small backpack made by another manufacturer, which I got attached to the flap at the bottom of the backpack, which in turn makes it a bit more difficult to use. That is, the benefit of a large front flap was wasted in this case. In this backpack I had to secure the hiking hook with the straps. The biggest advantage of this new backpack is its versatility. and I know I can modify it just the way I want it. Probably the best modular backpack ever, both in terms of performance and quality. However, I missed those old metal string locks!

For me (198cm, 95kg) is this the perfekt backpack. No propblem to carry 30kg even in difficult ascents. There is enough space in it for a big winter-sleepingbag. Everything is very strong and made for long use. This is finaly my "last" backpack.
