Really good grip even on mirror ice, you can walk with a relaxed step without fear of slipping. The previous ones were used for 20 years and there was still grip left. Ideal for black ice. I used the Icer's for two weeks in northern Norway on mirror-smooth ice surfaces. They provide perfect support. Even on a short mountain tour on frozen ground, I didn't slip once. Adapting to the mountain boots is relatively easy and it is also not difficult to put them on and take them off when shopping in the supermarket. No signs of wear so far.
